True Love Waits
2 years ago, I have met a guy in the unexpected place. It was rainy day that time so I look immediately for a place where I can stay but we suddenly bumped to each other, I feel dizzy and everything went black. When I woke up, the guy suddenly said,"Are you alright Miss? I'm sorry for what happened earlier." I was so shocked but I still manage to look at him smiling and said,"Yes, I'm okay now.""I immediately fetch you in the hospital because I am scared of what might happen to you",he added."Thank you for taking me here",I replied."By the way, I'm Karl, and you are?",he uttered."I'm Sophie",I replied.
After that incident, we became friends, we talked about ourselves, we spent time together, we watch movies and we always hang out. As the day goes by, we became more close than what we expected and I can't deny the fact that I already fell for him. After a few days, Karl Asked me if I can go with him in his favorite place for he has something important to tell me. When we came in the said place, I was so amazed to see the beautiful view, I can also feel the good ambiance of the place. We spent our time in roaming around and talking about random things. While we are talking he suddenly said that "I am leaving next week, Sophie. I have a cancer and I need to be confined in the U.S. for my medication. I 'm sorry for telling you this late but I promise I 'll be back as soon as I can and always remember that I have loved you and I will always do." After hearing those words, I immediately hugged him and tears starts to fall, my feet starts to shake and my heart feels like someone is clenching it.
Even if I want to go with him for his medication, I can't because I have to continue my studies here. Even if it's hard to adjust I must still manage to live a normal life without his presence but I always pray for him that may God give him strong mind to surpass the challenges that he is facing now. So for now, I am hoping for his fast recovery for him to be able to come back here and spend the rest of his life with me.
